“Rescue” Your Nails from Faded Colors

1. Stop painting nails for a while

When nails turn yellow, it’s best to stay away from the cause – nail polish. Try not to paint your nails for at least 2 weeks so that the natural pigments on your nails can fully recover and improve. Light colors such as blush pink, nude, light pink will make your nails pink without yellowing like red tones, bright pink, cobalt blue.
2. Lemon juice
Lemon juice is considered a simple, effective and cost-effective method for whitening nails. You just need to take 1 tablespoon of lemon juice with 200ml of warm water, then soak your nails for about 15 – 20 minutes every day. The mild acid in lemon will safely “whiten” the nails. 3. Toothpaste

The combination of lemon juice and baking powder can help you create a very effective nail whitening solution. Mix 1 tablespoon of lemon juice with 1 tablespoon of baking powder. Gently apply the mixture to the hands and massage. For the nails, use a cotton pad to rub on the yellowed areas. Finally, rinse your hands with warm water and dry them with a soft towel. Baking powder is another familiar additive that women can easily find at supermarkets, grocery stores, or local markets at very affordable prices.


In addition, remember the following basic principles to have beautiful, healthy nails:

– Do not remove and paint nails more than 1-2 times per week, otherwise nails are prone to dryness and yellowing.

– Choose nail removers with moisturizing ingredients to minimize nail damage.

– Wear gloves when doing housework, avoid nails coming into contact with chemicals and detergents.
